Mary Carolyn (Danielson) Frizell was born on April 28, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa,
where she grew up with her father, Jesse Danielson, attending College at Drake University. She met and married Glenn H. Frizell in 1950, then lived in Shreveport, Louisiana for 5 years, before returning to Des Moines, where Glenn worked for Midwest Energy as a Manager of Electrical Engineering before retiring. Mary  returned to Drake University, where she graduated with a BA degree, teaching English in the Des Moines Public Schools. She was also active in the Presbyterian Church & the Iowa Radio Reading Service for the Blind, for which she was given the Governor’s Service Award in 1994. They moved to Burnsville, MN in 1997, living there 6 years before moving to Timber Hills, first in a townhome & then to the Terrace in 2009.
Mary really enjoyed singing in the Songsters there & in the Music Makers in South St. Paul.  She was a long-time member of Delta Zeta sorority, the Order of the Eastern Star, & P.E.O. She passed away on April 28, 2026, her 96th birthday.  She is survived by three daughters, six grandsons & three Great-grandchildren.
