Age 76 of Inver Grove Heights
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on July 18, 2023 after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Harold & Ruth Volness; brothers, Richard (Trudy) Lee & Kenneth Volness. Survived by loving husband of 57 years, Daniel; children, Sheila (Sheldon) Ludescher, Daniel Greising, Jennifer (Dennis) Moynihan & Jodie (Timothy Bohn) Greising; grandchildren, Michael (Heather), Mark, Christopher, Amanda, Lindsay, Danielle, Sydney, Lauren, Meghan; great-grandchildren, Juliet, Selena, EllaMae; sister, Jeanette (Alan) Erickson; step-mother, Laura Volness; sister-in-law, Janet Volness; and many nieces, nephews, family & friends. Linda loved golfing, bowling, crafting, many other hobbies and tending to her flower gardens. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her warm personality and infectious smile. Memorial Service 4:00 pm Monday, July 24th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. A light dinner at Veterans Memorial Community Center following the Service.
