Age 81 of Inver Grove Heights
DyAnn was born July 24, 1943 in Luverne, Minnesota. She passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024. DyAnn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; brother, Arlen and brother-in-law. She is survived by her two children, Chad (Jackie) Emery, Heather Emery; seven grandchildren, Austin, Mackenna, Kaden, Evan Emery; Colin, Andrew; Six Verduzco; sister, MaReese Cragoe; sister-in-law, Martha Olson; along with many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
DyAnn married her high school sweetheart. She and Wayne moved to Inver Grove Heights and raised their family. DyAnn was living independently in the family home she and Wayne had owned for over 50 years.
DyAnn did various administrative assistant jobs and was a para educator in the local schools for many years. DyAnn enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and scrapbooking. She enjoyed time with friends including their birthday club gatherings and playing bunco. She stayed in contact with several friends from high school as well over the years. There are numerous scrapbooks filled with pictures of her grandchildren, friends, family, and trips and outings she has taken. Family gatherings, always included board games or card games and laughter.
A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 7600 Cahill Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076, on Friday March 14th, 2025. A visitation hour at 11:00am with a short service starting at 12:00 noon and a luncheon to follow.
