Age 88
Passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2025. Gene was a pillar of the community on the West Side where he was born and raised and ran Josephs Market, with his wife, Irene, for 38 years. Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine; father, Bud; his sisters, Shirley, Carol, Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving wife, Irene; sister, Judy; children, Jamie (Kelly), Dori (Alan), Tanya, and Mark (Laurie); nephew, Joseph Ruiz; grandchildren, Jesse, Amanda, Jensen and Tyler.
Funeral Mass 11:00 am Thursday, August 28th, at Holy Family Maronite Church, 1960 Lexington Ave. S., Mendota Heights. Visitation 10:00-11:00 am prior to Mass. Luncheon following. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
