Henry Sarin Yos passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Sarin shared 63 years of marriage with his deeply devoted wife, Phally Yos (Yin). They were married on June 5, 1963, building a lifetime of shared history, resilience, and family.

Sarin’s life was deeply rooted in family. He was a father who always wanted the best for his only son, Chanthou, instilling the values of discipline and respect. While his guidance could be strict, his dedication to his son’s future was unwavering. He was adamant to become an American Citizen and provide opportunities for his family and community. Henry was deeply affected by the early loss of Chanthou, a grief he carried for the rest of his life.

He was also a devoted and loving grandfather, finding great joy, pride, and purpose in his grandchildren. His love, guidance, and presence will remain a lasting part of their lives.

Sarin was born in Cambodia on January 1, 1939, Sarin lived a life defined by perseverance, strength, and a demand for respect. As the youngest of six siblings and the last surviving member of his immediate family, he carried himself with quiet resilience and wisdom. In Cambodia, Sarin worked at the American Embassy, where he was known for his reliability and dedication. In April 1975, he made the courageous journey to the United States as one of the first Cambodian families seeking refuge during a time of great uncertainty.

Sarin was a respected and well-known figure within the Cambodian community. He was known for his generosity, guidance, and willingness to help others. He played an important role in assisting numerous families as they began new lives in America and was fondly remembered for helping bring people together, including arranging marriages that grew into many happy unions.

Sarin was preceded in death by his beloved son, Chanthou, and his grandson, Brayden William Chanthou Yos.

He is survived by his loyal loving wife, Phally Yos, and his beloved grandchildren: Devontay Yos, Tawny Yos, Mariah Yos, and Kyle Yos.

Henry will be remembered his enduring presence, and the lasting impact he made on his family and community.
