Age 66 of Oakdale, formerly of Northfield, MN.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on February 18, 2026.

Preceded in death by father, Robert Broderick and sister, Tammy Broderick.

Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Tammy; daughter, Michelle (Jeremy) Broderick; granddaughter, Reagan Broderick; grandson, Logan Broderick; mother, Gladyce; siblings, Renee (Joe) Rezac, Martin Broderick, Sherri (Randy) Jacobson, Jerry (Michele) Broderick, Julie Meyer; sisters-in-law, Denise Warner and Rosemarie (Kevin) Carden; also, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Robert loved to play any type of game (and was very competitive!), especially cards, softball, and online gaming. He joined the U.S. Navy as soon as he graduated from high school, he served for 18+ years before taking early retirement in 1995. He loved computers so he became an IT Technician, working for several companies, and retired from 3M in 2021. He and Tammy loved to travel, especially road trips and visiting his bucket list destinations (Alaska, Australia, New Zealand and his favorite Ireland, to name a few). He was an avid sports fan, especially the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. His biggest passion was for his family, and his favorite title was Grandpa!

Funeral Service 10:30 am Thursday, February 26th at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 9:30 am – 10:30 am prior to the service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
