Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on . Preceded in death by parents, Albert & Rose; siblings, Gilford, Dick & Renee. Survived by sister, Donna; loving wife of 70 years, Margaret; children, Daniel (Debbra), Samuel (Pat), Patricia (Don) Leseman, Raymond (Debra) & Matthew; grandchildren, Daniel, Samuel, Rebecca, Antonio, Michael, Donald, Margaret, Susan, Katie, Raymond, Matthew, Alyssa, Cecilia; 17 great-grandchildren. Vernon proudly served in the US Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, March 20th, at the Church of St. Matthew, 510 Hall Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 9-10:30 AM prior to Mass. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
