Age 93 of Inver Grove Heights.
Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024. Preceded in death by parents, Oscar & Edith; sister, Bernice Delamater. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, JoAnn; son, Steve (Mayme); daughters, Sandy Heinz & Sheila (Andy) Pierucki; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also other family & friends.
Alden was raised on a farm in northern Minnesota. He delighted in figuring out how things worked and found it satisfying to repair them if needed. He enjoyed recounting life on the farm. Alden relished the outdoors; gardening; mowing the lawn and watching the wildlife. He especially loved family get-togethers for holidays and birthday parties. Alden served in the army in Korea during the war.
Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, October 18th with a 6:00 pm Service at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
