Passed away peacefully on November 8, 2016. After a courageous battle with leukemia. Preceded in death by mother, Ethel Alpert; father, Joseph Alpert; brother, Jerry Hoffman; grandmother, Adele Pugh. Survived by wife of 38 years, Mary Jo; sons, Brent (Ashley), Nathan (Amy); granddaughter, Mia; brothers, Vincent (Cecilia) Hoffman, Gaylord (Irene) Kube; also many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Service 3 PM Saturday, November 12th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., IGH. Visitation 12 Noon-3 PM prior to the service. Private inurnment to follow.
