Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 19, 2026.
Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Rose Seidl; sisters, Darlene Seidl and Mary Ann and John Koehnen; brother, Louis Seidl.
Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Tom; son, Matthew (Natalie); daughter, Angela (Nick) Henjum; grandchildren, Jack and Stella; brother, James (Sharon) Seidl; sister-in-law, Sharon Seidl, widow of her brother Louis; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Carol cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She devoted much of her life to her family and especially enjoyed the time she shared with her children and grandchildren. She loved spending her summers at the lake and her winters in Florida. She especially enjoyed playing Texas Hold’em with her poker friends and took great pride in caring for her garden and the beautiful flowers around her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, at the Church of Saint Patrick, 3535 72nd St., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to Mass at the church. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Fatty Liver Foundation in memory of Carol, supporting research, education, and support for those affected by MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis), a non-alcohol-related form of liver disease.
