Age 79 of Inver Grove Heights
August 8, 1944 – June 17, 2024
Marley grew up in South St. Paul, served his time in the Navy, then met his forever love Cheryl. They settled in Inver Grove Heights and raised their family. He is most known for becoming a self-made businessman and founding Danner Inc. His drive and passion for construction got him nicknamed “Mad Dog” and kept him working into his last days. Marley’s other love was spending the winter months in Las Vegas with his wife Cheryl. He was often the last man at the poker table and the first one at the golf course. Those that knew him well know that he was a tough man with a tender heart. And in true Marley fashion, “Are you happy now?”, we all know that he is. Marley is survived by his daughters, Kristine Chirhart and Jennifer (John Hartung) Danner; grandchildren, Sarah, Jeffrey, Kenny, Aleczander and Bryan; great-grandchildren, Kallie, Alanah, Rhett, Zachary, Leo, and Bradley; siblings, Dorothy Bohrer, Jerry (Barb) Danner. He is preceded in death by, wife Cheryl Kathleen; infant son, Jeffrey Louis; parents, Edwin and Sylvia Danner.
To say we will miss you will never be enough. Love Remains; Forever.
Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 23rd at the Armory Gymnasium at the Veterans Memorial Community Center, 8055 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
