Dave grew up in South St. Paul, Minnesota, where he developed a lifelong passion for sports. He played hockey and soccer at South St. Paul High School and continued on to play hockey at Gustavus Adolphus College. His love for hockey stayed with him throughout his life. Whether he was attending Minnesota Wild games, watching hockey with his son, or cheering on his daughter at her games. Dave never missed an opportunity to support the people he loved.

Dave spent his career working in environmental abatement and took great pride in owning and operating his own company. He was a dedicated, hard worker who did everything to the best of his ability. Those who knew him best will remember his strong personality, his stubbornness, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family.

When he wasn’t working, Dave loved spending time at the cabin, taking pontoon rides, attending concerts, and making memories with family and friends. He was always ready with a story, a joke, or a perfectly timed one-liner. Dave’s quick wit and unmistakable sense of humor brought laughter to those around him and reflected the joy he brought into the lives of others. He was truly the life of the party, known not only for his humor but also for his generous heart and willingness to give back. Throughout his life, Dave passionately supported various charities and scholarships, always looking for ways to make a difference.

Above all, Dave was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who made sure everyone around him felt deeply loved, supported, and cared for.
