Age 94 of Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Passed away peacefully on February 15th.
Elva was happily married to husband of 45 years, Richard, “Dick”. They enjoyed a large family together: Elva’s 4 children, Mike Derks(Phyllis), Cherie Dahl(Rick), Debbie Olund(Tom), and Tim Derks; Dick’s 4 children, Linda O’Dell (Ken), Alane Wiesner, Gail Peterson(John) and Karl Wiesner(Dawn); 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
Dick and Elva spent many fun years traveling the country in their motorhome and spent many winters in New Mexico.
All her life, Elva was an avid reader. She loved to sew, knit, crochet and was really good at crossword puzzles.
She was proud of her Dutch heritage and we lovingly teased her about being a “stubborn Dutchman”. She will be missed by all.
Memorial Service 11:00 am Friday, February 20th at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.
