Jerry greatly enjoyed quality time spent with his children and grandchildren that he so deeply loved, taking in the beautiful rich sunsets on Dead Lake, outings and meals with his friends, and he put his clever mind to work, often engaging in various projects at any given time – you could easily say he never truly retired. Jerry was a devoted Papa and mentor to his grandkids and went out of his way to lend a helping hand or to teach the kids how to take on new tasks and ensure they learned how to do it right. He had a great appreciation for engines and how they ran, ATV’s, watercrafts, vintage cars and reminiscing about his pastime passion of boat racing. In passing, Jerry was eager to reunite with the love of his life, his late wife, Debra, whom he was married to for over 40 years and his trusty little buddy, their pup named Rusty.
