Johnson, Kirk D.

Age 68 of Inver Grove Heights.

Passed away on August 19^th, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Kirk was born in Minneapolis on July 14, 1953 to Sylvia and Gordon Johnson and was a graduate of Kennedy High School in Bloomington, MN. Kirk was an avid sports fan both as a participant and a spectator. His nicknames, jokes and quick wit brought laughs to all he met. He will be sorely missed, but his memory will always make us smile. He survived by his daughter, Ashley (David) Huppler; granddaughter, Ella; father, Gordon (Sandra); sister, Lynn Perkins; step-brother, Greg (Wendy) Mann; step-sister, Mary (Bob) Rowell; niece, Tawnya; nephew, Tony (Alyssa); 4 great-nephews; special friend, Pam Martin and his Salem Lutheran Church family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother and stepfather, Sylvia Johnson Mann and Robert Mann. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 31^st, at Salem Lutheran Church, 11 W. Bernard St., West St. Paul. Masks will be required. Visitation 10 -11 AM prior to the service. Memorials preferred to charity of your choice.
