Age 87
Jim was born June 15, 1933 in St. Paul, MN and passed away peacefully, June 5, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; sister, Joyce. Survived by wife of 69 years, Gloria; children, Steven (Janice Ford), Thomas and Aurora (George) Buechler; 5 grandchildren, Robert, Stephanie, Ashley, Joseph and Ann; 8 great-grandchildren. After graduating from Mechanic Arts High School, Jim proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a plumber for 38 years of which 18 were with Northwest Airlines. Jim enjoyed spending time with friends at Gramercy Park Co-op in Inver Grove Heights. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, racquetball, shooting pool, woodcarving and reading. A gathering of family and friends will be held 
from 4 to 6 PM Thursday, June 17th, at Roberts Funeral Home 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred to donor’s choice. Special thanks to Inver Glen Sr. Living and St. Croix Hospice.
