Ronald J. Kubes passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 9th, 1940 in Northfield Minnesota. He graduated from Northfield High School and Mankato State University. He worked for the State of Minnesota for 40 years and for Red Cross for 12 years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family, working out, playing cards and gardening. Ron will be remembered for his strong handshakes and hugs, and his love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and exceptance of others. He is survived by his loving wife Kay, son Mike (Fabiana), daughters, Lynn Tschida (Steve), Diane Sewell, Kathy Kubes. Grandchildren Rayjon (Elizabeth), Kalie (Josh), Jada, Mikie, Connor, Camden, Marcelo. Great-grandchildren, Ariiana, Jordan, Madeline, Marielle. Sister- Mary Jane When asked what is the key to a successful marriage? Ron said that all you need to say is the following six words “yes dear”, “I’m sorry” and “You’re right”. It worked because he was married for 62 years to his one and only. The love he shared with his loving wife could be seen by everyone who knew him. He will be missed dearly! He is proceded in death by his parents Charles and Rose Kubes and his brothers; Stan, Joe, Ray, Ed, Chuck and Dick.
