Age 88,

Passed away peacefully on July 12, 2021. Born December 14, 1932. Preceded in death by loving husband of 64 years, Elwood, brother Stanley Marblestone (Sybil) and son-in-law Rob Sage. Survived by children, Loren (Kim), Kris Sage and Dave (Tom); grandchildren Jessica (Jeffrey) Odom, Jason (Linzie) Kuhnly, BJ (Laura) Sage and Cassie (Matt) Daulton; 8 great grandchildren (#9 on the way); brother Alan (Naomi  “Cookie”) Marblestone; sisters-in-law Carol Kuhnly and Margaret “Peggy” Kuhnly; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Phyllis loved her Scottish Terrier dogs and all things Scottie. She loved to travel; throughout the US in their motorhome, many cruises with Elwood’s brothers and their wives and trips to California to visit her brothers. She loved to knit and made many hats, sweaters, scarves, blankets and baby blankets for everyone she knew. There are 100’s of newborn babies that left St. Joe’s and United Hospitals with one of her hand knit baby hats on their head. She loved to cook and share her baked goods. Most of all she loved time with her family near and far. Private, family service and interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Animal Humane Society.
