Age 93, formerly of Inver Grove Heights, MN
Passed away quietly on Monday, January 8, 2024 at the Broadwell Senior Living Facility in Plymouth, MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Catherine (Feyen) Laska; beloved wife, Irene (Wenner) Laska; sisters, Katherine (Leroy) Holmes, Lucile (Orville) Faulk, Florence (Frederick) Oven, Elaine (Robert) Lynch, Laraine (John); brother, Bernard (Marian) Laska; sister-in-law, Evelyn (George) Warling; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Wenner, Louis Wenner, Roman Wenner, and Alvin Wenner.
Survived by his loving family; sons, Jim (Betty) Laska, Leonard Laska and 
David (Meliene) Laska; grandsons, Anthony (Ali) Laska and Aaron Laska; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Laska; along with three great grandchildren, Amiyah, Alikai and Eli.
Dick was born, March 29, 1930 in St. Paul Minnesota. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from March 9, 1951 to March 3, 1953. On April 28, 1956, Dick married Irene Lucille Wenner at St. Michaels Catholic Church in West St. Paul Minnesota. They were long-time residents of Inver Grove Heights, and parishioners of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Dick enjoyed fishing and his annual deer hunting trip with his sons and friends.
Visitation and Service will be at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the service following at 10:30 AM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights MN.
