David Elmer Kromschroeder

Age 66 of Rosemount.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 19, 2026. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer & Carol; sister, Nancy. Survived by daughter, Rose (Ryan); step-children, Kristin (Nicholas) & Anthony; step-grandson, Atlas; siblings, Cathy (Dave), Greg, Diana (Ken) & John (Sherry); and many other family & friends.

A man of profound faith and integrity, David lived his life as a proud and loving servant and father. His legacy of protection began after high school as a Military Police Officer, followed by a distinguished 28-year career as an officer and Sergeant with the Richfield Police Department. His dedication to marksmanship remained a favorite retirement hobby. David also channeled his passion for service into his church, serving as a member-at-large at Our Savior Lutheran Church and volunteering for countless events.

David’s heart belonged to his family. He deeply valued nature and God’s creation, finding peace camping on trips to Alaska with his daughter, and in the Boundary Waters with family and friends. At home, he loved gardening and meticulously decorating the house to make the holidays magical. He took his beloved dog and “best bud,” Scout, on daily walks, cherishing that time to quiet life’s noise and count his blessings. Afterward, he loved relaxing on his deck with a cold beer and talk radio, Scout by his side. A loyal Minnesota sports fanatic, he faithfully cheered the Twins on for a championship every year.

When faced with a terminal brain cancer diagnosis in October 2022, David’s response was an ode to who he was. Throughout his 3.5-year journey, he became the most faithful and optimistic he had ever been, defying his original prognosis by 2.5 years. He filled those years with pure joy, fulfilling his dream of walking his daughter, Rose, down the aisle and holding his first grandchild, Atlas. His family will forever cherish this extra time and the faithful example he set.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20th at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 14980 Diamond Path W., Rosemount, MN with visitation 1-hour prior at church. A luncheon will follow. Interment at Emanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Inver Grove Heights at 2:15 pm.

Theresa Ann Schuldt

January 13, 1979 ~ May 13, 2026

Age 47 of Woodbury, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Mary Ann Wenker and Milo and Jeanette Schuldt. Survived by loving daughter, Kaitlin (Borucki); parents, William and Jean Schuldt; furry friend, Remington; friend, Matthew Borucki; and a host of friends and co-workers, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The love of Theresa’s life was her daughter, Kaitlin. From the moment she was born, Theresa’s life revolved around Kaitlin. Theresa was so proud of all of Kaitlin’s achievements, large or small. They enjoyed making many, many memories together.

Theresa worked for the Veterans Administration for 24 years. She loved her current position as Data Analyst with the Kansas City VA, and enjoyed her job because of the wonderful relationship with her bosses and co-workers.

Theresa was a great enthusiast of animals. She was passionate about all the dogs in her life, Cleo, Mimi, Charlie and Remington. She visited alpaca farms, llamas, deer parks, and did yoga with goats. She loved all the creatures of the sea: manatees, dolphins, sea turtles and of course, the ‘orange beaks’ of Madeira Beach. She experienced things most people have never heard, like a spa day with the elephants and visiting a capybara cafe. No trip to Madeira Beach was ever complete without a trip to the Seaside Bird Sanctuary in Indian Rocks.

One of Theresa’s favorite things to do was to walk the beach, looking for shells. Her wish of going to Shell Camp was fulfilled in March, 2025. Southeast Florida was her favorite place to be.

Theresa didn’t always spend her time in Florida at the beach. When she was 9 years old, she found another love in Orlando, Mickey Mouse. After that first trip to Disney World, she had many, many subsequent trips to Disney World, enjoying the rides, the parks, the parades, and seeing the characters.

Theresa will be missed by many.

Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, with a sharing of stories at 6:30 on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, MN.
