Francis “Tim” Roszak

Devoted husband, father and grandfather, age 85, of South Saint Paul MN, passed away peacefully December 1, 2025.

He was preceded in death by parents, Francis “Boots” and Marie Roszak, sister, Linda Roszak Elliot.

He’s survived by loving wife of 61 years, Norma Roszak; children, Tim (Karyn) Roszak, DeAnne (John) Bennett, Bob (Shelly, deceased) Roszak, and Bill (Margaret) Roszak; ten grandchildren, Aaron, Lauryn, and Ryan Roszak, Abbie (Mack) Wenberg and Natalie Bennett, Abby (Patrick) Reynolds and Tory Roszak (Gabe), and Annie, Jake, and Sara Roszak; great-grandson, Bryson Reynolds; and niece Sylvie Thome, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He enjoyed the outdoors. Especially duck hunting at “Camp Canvasback”, where he loved to mow the lawn and tell tall tales. Cars, beautiful clothes, and music were his passions. He spent hours coaching the MN Twins from his living room chair. As a veteran of the US Navy, Tim served our country with honor. Tim had a rewarding career as a carpenter and retired from the profession in 2000.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Thursday, December 11th at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1154 Seminole Ave., West St Paul, MN 55118. Visitation 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to Mass at church.

Tim will be privately interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with honors.

Adria Helen Smentek

Age 75 of Inver Grove Heights, MN

Passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025.

Born May 1, 1950, in Saint Paul, MN.  Lifelong resident of Inver Grove Heights and longtime employee of District 199.

Preceded in death by parents, Leonard & Helen Waldock.

Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Larry; children, Jeff (Kirstin), Joe (Katie), Amy (Matt) Klein & Jed (Michelle); grandchildren, Jeffrey, Liam, Nora, Zoey, Henry, Allie, Kellan, Mairin, Molly & Kaden; sister, Helen Waldock; nephews, Patrick & Cody; also other family & friends.

Adria loved to be with her family.  She loved being “Nana” to her ten grandkids. She loved nature, especially the loons and lady slippers up north.  She loved staying busy – always multi-tasking with crocheting, knitting, needlepoint.  She loved reading.  She loved working with kids, reaching out when someone needed a little bit more – love, attention, care.  Adria loved unconditionally.

Visitation Open House on Saturday, December 6th from 10:00 am-12:00 noon at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Interment Saint Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Inver Grove Heights at a later date.

Zachary Michael Long

Age 33 of Rosemount, Minnesota.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 23rd, 2025. Preceded in death by grandparents, Mike and Mary Long and several Marine Corps brothers. Survived by parents, Pat and Cheryl Long; brother Dan Long; sister, Callaghan (Charlie) Straus; nephew, Colby; grandparents, Mike & Karen Bellows, Carole & John Dietz; also, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and Marines.

Zach loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a born leader and took great pride in his work and military service. Anyone who met Zach loved him. He was an old soul with a smile on his face, a silly laugh, and who was ready for anything. “I’m in!” was the way he lived, and he was always the life of the party. When he wasn’t working, he lived large. More than anything, he had the biggest heart for his family, friends, and country.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, December 8th, with a Time of Sharing beginning at 7:30 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul.

Tammy June Baxter McKinnon

December 11, 1968 – November 18, 2025

Tammy June Baxter McKinnon passed away surrounded by loved ones at the University of MN hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She is survived by her husband, Dean McKinnon; parents, Richard and Carol Baxter; sister, Kathleen AlQabalani (husband Sam); nieces, Noor and Nadeen AlQabalani; sister, Julie Navas (husband Luis) and brother, Rich Baxter. She was also a stepmother to Justin, Tanner and Bryce McKinnon and grammy to Kansas, Colby and Camden McKinnon. She will be missed by many friends that she loved as family, as well as her four-legged companions, Chala, Niko, Bayly and Jayda.

As Richard and Carol’s first child, Tammy was born in Aurora, MN. She grew up in the lakeside town of Two Harbors, MN where she graduated high school. She studied at the University of MN Duluth and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Accounting from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN. After college, she worked for Minnesota Mutual Insurance Company and spent 20 years as an Accounting Manager at Wells Fargo. After retirement Tammy channeled her passion for creativity and opened her own small business, Aurora Apparel and Gifts, with her husband Dean. Her unique creations were a treasured gift for those lucky enough to receive them. Her talent also extended to hobbies like scrapbooking, gardening and baking. Tammy also loved to travel and spend summers at the family cabin, surrounded by those she treasured the most.

Tammy was courageous and lived life with an enthusiastic spirit. Those who knew her will remember her passion for 80’s music, hair bands and her favorite artist, Prince. She had a magnetic personality with a witty sense of humor that could make anyone smile. Her greatest legacy is the love she shared and the countless lives she touched with her compassionate heart. She was drawn to help others through whatever struggles they faced and was happy to lend a helping hand, no matter the need. We were all lucky to have her in our lives and we will miss her dearly. Just like her love for music, her song will continue on in our hearts forever.

A visitation to celebrate Tammy’s life will take place on Friday December 12th, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home at 8108 Barbara Ave, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th at St. Patrick’s Church, 3535 72nd St E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076. There will be a one-hour visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and mass at 11:00 a.m., followed by a lunch reception at the church. A private interment will be held by her family at a later date.

Mario Joseph Eisenbacher

Age 78, a recent resident of Inver Grove Heights, MN,

Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, in St. Paul, MN. Born on April 13, 1947, in Bamberg, Germany, Mario lived a fulfilling life as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend who brought joy to all those who knew him. He lived in southern New Jersey from 1968-2022.

Mario was passionate about astrology, hypnotherapy, tai chi, and esoteric spirituality. His interests also included physics, computer coding and marketing. Mario’s career in mechanical engineering brought him around the world, and he enjoyed learning about cultures and theology. Mario authored several books on the topics of computer programming, as well as the mystical sciences and universal law. He was a loving pet owner of several dogs and cats throughout his lifetime.

Mario is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Eva Eisenbacher, and his father, Joseph Eisenbacher, and his baby sister, Mary Elizabeth, and his former spouse, Shirley Ann Eisenbacher, mother of his daughter. Mario is remembered as the former spouse of Mary-Patricia Seimes. Mario is survived by his daughter, Alasan (Edward), and granddaughters, Ashley and Chloe, and his devoted partner, Susan. Mario was loved and cared for by many friends, caregivers, and extended family. He will be greatly missed by many.

Roger Rohrer

Age 84, of South St. Paul.

Passed on November 12, 2025. Preceded in death by parents, Millard and Margaret; brother, Dale. Survived by wife of 54 years, Dianne; children, Brad (Chandra) Rohrer, Jennifer (Mac) Noland, Todd (Shelly) Rohrer and Michael (Elizabeth) Rohrer; grandchildren, Sam, Griffin, Ella, Cam, Chase, Nate, Ryan, Haley, Jacob and Addie; sister, Lynda; in-laws, nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.

Roger was born in Cyrus, MN, an Army Veteran, University of Minnesota graduate, 50 year South St. Paul resident, and an appraisal professional retired from BRKW.  He enjoyed family, friends, socializing, learning, reading, writing, sports, and outdoors. Roger was an expert people person, listener, story teller, jokester, family guy, and once and a while… a bit lucky.

Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Church of St. John Vianney, 840 19th Ave. N., South St. Paul. Visitation two hours prior to Mass at church. Luncheon to follow Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

 

Mary Therese Mehsikomer

Age 64

Mary Therese Mehsikomer, age 64, passed away on November 11, 2025. She was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota to parents, Joan and Ed Mehsikomer.

Mary graduated from Simley High School in 1979 and St. Catherine University in 2007.  She spent her career supporting education technology in Minnesota, with roles at the State of Minnesota, Region 1, TIES and Sourcewell. Her expertise made her a frequent presenter at state and national conferences on a variety of technology topics. Mary had an impact on education technology in every school district across the state of Minnesota. Mary held several professional certifications and roles, including:  ISTE Certified Educator, METN Treasurer, Founder of CoSN MN Chapter, ITEM Board Member and the President of the Board of Directors for the MN Online High School.

Mary was well-known for her humor and her love of books, travel, and all things Irish. She generously shared her time with friends and family members, including caring for their children and pets.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joan & Ed Mehsikomer, Millie Mehsikomer, and sisters, Maureen Sweeney & Alice Knutson.

Remaining to cherish Mary’s memory are siblings: Steve Mehsikomer (Vanessa Myhre-Formico), Pat (Dan) Blaskowski, Peggy (Bob) Junkin, Jim (Margaret) Sweeney, Bob (Paula) Sweeney, Jerry Sweeney (Scott Nyquist), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and many friends.

Her family would like to thank all the friends who supported her during her illness this year.

Memorials preferred to the Dakota County Library Foundation, Literacy Minnesota or her family.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Saturday, November 29 at Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St. E., Inver Grove Heights.  Visitation from 9:30 to 11 am, prior to Mass.  Luncheon following Mass.  Private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Joseph Frank Stickler

Age 81, of West St. Paul

Loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Joseph Frank Stickler, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, surrounded by family.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Stickler (Whaley); parents, Frank and Evelyn Stickler and brother, John.  Joe will be deeply missed by his treasured friend and companion of 15 years, MaryAnn Richter, who brought sunshine and happiness into all our lives at just the right moment.  MaryAnn came with her own children and grandchildren who quickly embraced Papa Joe as their own and loved him deeply.  He is survived by his children, Mike (Sue), Bob (LeeAnn), and Joe (Joanne); seven grandchildren, Thomas, Megan, Samantha, Jack, Jaime, Taylor, and Hannah; and two great-grandsons, Henry and Caden.  He will be fondly remembered by the extended Richter family, his brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Timber Hills Retirement Community for their exceptional care, kindness, and support.

Janet Ketchmark (Schaefer)

Age 89

Passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. Preceded in death by parents, nine siblings and her husband, Theodore of 62 years. Survived by her children, Tom, Steve, Terrie Loosen (Eddie), Tami Fenton (Mike), Lisa Dockter (Jay); grandchildren, Shari, Adam, Zak, Korey, Madison, Joshua, Tanner, Ryan, Hannah; 6 great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

 

Karron Monica Holmes (née Hofstead)

Age 67, of Woodbury, formerly of South St. Paul,

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ascenetta “Chenny,” and several aunts and uncles. Survived by her faithful husband of 43 years, Gary “Cookie”; daughter, Chanel; sons, Antonio “Tony” and Nicolas “Nico”; grandchildren, Brennan, Wade, and Ava; brother, Steven (Laurie) Hofstead; sister, Angela Schmall; nieces, Lindsay, Taylor, and Natalie; nephews, Jordan and Dominic; aunts, Anatalia DeLao and Alice Vega; and many loving cousins, relatives, and friends.                                              Karron retired from the State of Minnesota after 33 years of devoted service. She was a kind and joyful woman who loved to laugh and cherished spending time with her family.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Monday, November 24th, at St. Ambrose Catholic Community, 4125 Woodbury Drive, Woodbury, MN with visitation 9:00 to 11:00 am prior to Mass. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, South St. Paul. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
