Age 46 of Inver Grove Heights Formerly of Superior, WI Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 6, 2016 after fighting hard to control her cancer for 7 ½ years. Preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Don Sauter, Jean Larsen, Joyce & Wayne Hard; grandparents. Survived by loving and devoted husband, Marc; son, David; daughter, Lilly; parents, Tom & Jan Cannon; brother, Tom & partner Rick; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deb & Mick Stein, Sue & Steve Murray, Lauri Ross & friend, Jeff Ernest; Joan & Rob Childs; mother & father-in-law, Diane & Ken Kuechler, brother & sister-in-law, Kevin & Rian Langdon. Also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends. Janelle’s passion in her life were her children and family. She was an inspiration to many and loved by all who got to know her. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Saturday, December 10 at The Church of St. Patrick, 3535 E. 72nd St., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 8:30-10:30 am prior to Mass at the church. Memorials preferred to The Colon Cancer Coalition and the family.

Fought the good fight and WON her battle with lung cancer/fibrosis on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 at her sister’s home in Cold Spring, MN. Sue was born on June 27th, 1959 in St Paul, MN to Patrick and Glenice Cavalier. She graduated from SSP Senior High school in 1977 then attended the MN School of Cosmetology. Sue lived in AZ before returning to MN in 1990 and began working for River Towne Trading/Target. She married her longtime friend Kevin Aeilts on August 10th, 1996. She worked for the Marriott Suites Hotel until health forced her retirement in 2015. Susie Q was giving, fun-loving, thoughtful, passionate, and courageous. Sue enjoyed fishing, time spent with family at the cabin, horseshoes, the MN Twins and being the life of the party. She loved her scratch offs which gave her much pleasure the last few weeks of her life. Sue is survived by husband, Kevin Aeilts and his son, Justin (Rachel) Aeilts; mother, Glenice Cavalier; brother, Dave (Terry) Cavalier; sister, Judie (Ken) Dunlop; brother-in-law, Jeff; sister-in-law, Cindy (Mike) Deneen; nephews, Andrew, Ryan, Michael, Zachary and their families; countless other family and friends, and most of all her beloved cat Zoe. Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny; nephew, Nathan; father, Patrick and grandparents. Memorials can be made to the Dakota County Humane Society. A Celebration of Her Life 7PM Monday, December 5th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 4-7PM prior to the service.
