God called Norma home June 20, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Harry B. and Eleanor Sandkamp; brothers, Leo and W.J. Bernie Sandkamp; sisters, Marcia Ell and Helen Jansen. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Gil; daughter, Debbie; siblings, Elaine Simone, Virgil (Joan) Sandkamp, Alan Sandkamp, Carol Devereaux, Mary Jane (Michael) Pisano, JoAnn (Michael) Hinz, John (Pat) Sandkamp and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Norma loved traveling, church activities, volunteering, dancing to old time music, and time spent with family and friends. Visitation 4 to 8 PM, Friday June 23rd, at the Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St. Inver Grove Heights. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, June 24th, also at the Church of St. Patrick with visitation 10-11 AM prior to Mass. Interment St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery.

God called Dorothy home June 12, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born Sept. 13, 1936 to Harry & Nellie Gustafson. Preceded in death by husband, Ronald. Survived by brother, Walter (Gloria) Gustafson; children, Gregory (Jessica Standefer), Patrick (Sharon), Gary (Colleen), Vicki (Andy) Williams, Paul (Stacy) &Valeri (Steve) Zeilinger; grandchildren, Kate (Michael) Fisher, Ali (Timothy) Wegwerth, Chris (Melissa) Haley, Ryan Haley, Breanna (Tanner) Miller, Zachary Zeilinger, Nicole (Nicholas) Zaglifa, Alicia (Ryan) Austerman, Kayla Marion, Hannah Marion, Rachel Williams & Sarah Williams; 10 great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews. There has never been anyone better at making another person feel more extraordinary. Thank you for the love and laughter, the creativity and adventures, for being a spark in all of our lives and a bright spot in all our worlds. You simply made the world a better place for all who knew you. We love you forever and always our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend -Dorothy. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on June 11, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Carl & Sadie Neubauer; and 4 brothers. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy; children, Scott (Mary) Neubauer, Shelley ( Doug) Abrahamson & Stacy (Paul) Marion; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Dorothy Carlson; and many family & friends. A special thank you to his Oncologist, Dr. Matthews, the Woodwinds Cancer Center staff & Health East Hospice. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 7PM, with visitation from 4:30 to the time of service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7600 Cahill Ave., Inver Grove Heights. A light lunch will follow service.

Passed away May 29, 2017 at the age 58 due to Kidney Disease. Preceded in death by his mother, Norma Johnston and his sister, Debbie Johnston. Survived by sons, Steven (Tommie), Tom (Marilyn) & Tim (Tuyen); grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel & Andrew; sister, Joyce Huber. Leola was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Survived by daughters, Mary (Mike Swaim), Jean Golden, Carol (Ron) Harnish, Deb (Nick) Leske; son, Steve (Jen); grandchildren, Melana, Brad, Matt, Michael, Tony, Chris, Jenna, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Dallin, Mylee, Riley, Jayden, Mavrik, Lylah & Ariana; brother, Ronald (Janet), Donald & Tom (Cindy) Lonetti; also many relatives & friends. Pat had strong core family values. She loved raising her family and was a wonderful Italian cook. In her later years she went to work in the banking industry where she retired. Age 56 of Inver Grove Heights, MN
Passed away at home on May 22, 2017, after a two-year battle with cancer. Mark was born to Kenneth and Ethlyn (Guyette) Laux of Le Sueur. He attended St. Anne’s School in Le Sueur, graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1979 and from St. Cloud State University in 1989 with a major in music. Mark also studied art at Minneapolis College of Art and Design for a time during the 1980’s. In 1989 he started work for TISCO is St. Paul working as a Senior Accounting Clerk. Mark was an accomplished musician. He played piano, violin, synthesizer, and recorder and composed many original pieces of music. For many years he provided piano accompaniment for Masses and sometimes directed the choir at St. Michael’s Church in West Saint Paul. Mark was also a gifted artist who painted many portraits and other types of pictures. His style was true to life recording his subjects in precise detail. He also created many other types of imaginative and gorgeous artworks including jewelry and colorful Middle Eastern-style bottles. Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ethlyn Laux. Survived by, husband, Allen (Bates) Laux; siblings; Joe and Vicky (Boisen) Laux, John and Bonnie (Johnson) Laux, Jim Laux and Bill Phillips, Michael and Juan Ignacio (Gomez) Laux, Mary and Steve Truran, Anne Laux and David Hoit, mother-in-law, Maria Bates; also many other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Friday, June 2nd at the Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St., Inver Grove Heights. Lloyd J. Weakley, age 94, went to be with his Lord, beloved wife Norma, and son Scott on May 19, 2017.
