Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 19, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Don & Dorothy Mattaini; brother, Butch. Survived by loving husband of 42 years, Jim; daughter, Angela (Dave) Rust; son, Michael (Becky); beloved Nana to Tommy, Charlie, Alex, Emma & Ava; sister, Roberta (Bob) Pederson.  She worked for the SSP and South Metro Fire Department for 30 years.  Debbie loved to travel, especially by cruise ship. She was a beloved friend and mother figure to many and she will be missed dearly. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, March 24^th at the Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72^nd St. Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 9:30 -10:30 am prior to Mass.
