Bruce T. Beltz
Passed away on July 5, 2024, of a broken heart after losing his wife of over 70 years, Carol, only 32 days earlier. Preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Meta; children, Julie and Thomas and grandson Kevin. Survived by children, SherryLee Jones, Bruce R. (Beth), Vickie, Jeanne (Craig) Kuhn and Terrence, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bruce was born June 23, 1930, in Glencoe, MN. He was a Korean War Veteran, and also owner of Bruce’s Custom Upholstery for over 30 years. Bruce is also proudly credited with starting the IGH Girls Traveling Slow Pitch Softball program in the late 1970’s.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 13th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. A family graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm in the Glencoe Cemetery, Glencoe, MN.

Passed away on June 26, 2024. Preceded in death by son, Tim; parents, Warren & Ethel; Austin (Bob) Roberts. Survived by loving wife, Marlene; children, Bob, Mike (Chris), Peggy Hall, April (Fredi) Roettger & Liz; 14 grandchildren, Briana, Samantha, Victoria, Emma, Katie, Joey, Chey, Lici, Nivea, Tristian, Dominic, Arianna, Gabriel, Lorenzo; sisters, Sue (Gary) Young & Cookie Mailand; also other family & friends.
Gary loved woodworking and was a history buff with a special interest in the civil war.

Cynthia Jean Stitt
Cynthia Jean Stitt, age 77, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2024. Born December 25, 1946, Cindy grew up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and graduated from Grand Rapids Senior High School in 1965. After high school Cindy went on to the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where she earned her master’s degree. Cindy spent her 30+ year teaching career pouring into jr high and high school students. Most of her teaching career was spent at Simley High School in Inver Grove, where she taught photography, pottery and art. On summer breaks Cindy spent her off time taking many adventures and traveling the country. Upon retirement Cindy moved back to her childhood home on Pokegama Lake in Grand Rapids. There Cindy could be found most days working on her stained glass, pottery, photography and glass jewelry all while doating on her dogs Bella and Phoebe. Cindy cherished her family and especially her friends that were like family to her.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Lenore Stitt and her brother John F. Stitt. She is survived by sister-in-law Geri Stitt, nephew Brett Stitt (Beth), nephew Bart Stitt (Tammy) and niece Julie Porter (Dean) along with great nieces and nephews, Erin Stitt, Ethan Stitt, Alyssa Stitt, Zach Stitt and Dakota Porter.
A Memorial for Cindy will be held Thursday, July 11th from 12:00 noon till 3:00 pm. The Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights.
Robert S. “Bob” Hurley
Age 86 of Inver Grove Heights
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on June 27, 2024. Preceded in death by son, Richard; parents, Stanley and Harriett; brothers, Dennis, Richard, Stanley. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Marilyn; daughters, Rosanne (Scott) and Melissa (Rob); son, Patrick; daughter-in-law, Patty; grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Mackenzie and Riley; step-grandchildren, Tyler (Maddie), Maddie (Elias), Ellie, Tharon; brother, Jim (Kristy); and other extended family and friends.
Bob spent most of his career working for 27 years at Farwell, Ozmun & Kirk (FOK) in St. Paul, MN. Bob eventually accepted a position and worked for School District 199 where he was the Grounds Foreman. He took pride in maintaining all the school grounds and made sure the fields were meticulously kept. In his retirement, Bob enjoyed fishing, gambling and visiting with his grandkids or watching them participate in their sporting events. They were his pride and joy!
Memorial service 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 24th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 9:30 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery.

Danner, Marlon Louis
Age 79 of Inver Grove Heights
August 8, 1944 – June 17, 2024
Marley grew up in South St. Paul, served his time in the Navy, then met his forever love Cheryl. They settled in Inver Grove Heights and raised their family. He is most known for becoming a self-made businessman and founding Danner Inc. His drive and passion for construction got him nicknamed “Mad Dog” and kept him working into his last days. Marley’s other love was spending the winter months in Las Vegas with his wife Cheryl. He was often the last man at the poker table and the first one at the golf course. Those that knew him well know that he was a tough man with a tender heart. And in true Marley fashion, “Are you happy now?”, we all know that he is. Marley is survived by his daughters, Kristine Chirhart and Jennifer (John Hartung) Danner; grandchildren, Sarah, Jeffrey, Kenny, Aleczander and Bryan; great-grandchildren, Kallie, Alanah, Rhett, Zachary, Leo, and Bradley; siblings, Dorothy Bohrer, Jerry (Barb) Danner. He is preceded in death by, wife Cheryl Kathleen; infant son, Jeffrey Louis; parents, Edwin and Sylvia Danner.

Passed away on June 16, 2024 after a traumatic fall down the stairs.
Survived by his siblings; Kevin (Theresa), Karen (Dave), Patti (Jay), Susan (Greg), Kathy (Mark), Bob (Saphia), Glen, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Paul was proceeded in death by his parents, John (Jack) & Joan (Jo) Lesch of Inver Grove Heights.
Paul was a 1984 graduate of Simley H.S., attended Mankato State University for one year and completed an associate degree in law-enforcement/peace officer training at MN community college in 1993.
We will always remember Paul for his big heart, love for his family, sense of humor & many talents. He was an incredible athlete excelling at hockey, water skiing, golf and any sport he played.
