Age 67 of Inver Grove Heights

Peacefully passed away surrounded by her adoring family. Dementia stole many things from her over her 10-year battle however, it never stole her sense of humor, smile, and loving nature. Survived by her children: daughters, Patricia (Todd) Menier & Crystal; sons, Adam & Luke; 6 grandchildren; Mother, Ellen Miller; Brothers, Jim (April) Corbin & Tom (Robin) Corbin; Sisters, Pat (Randy) Dotson & Betsy (Mark) Winter. Preceded in death by: Husband Timothy; Father Larry Corbin; Brother Chris Corbin. Beatrice was an accomplished RN who helped save many lives. She lived an incredible life filled with laughter, generosity and grace and she will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

Age 83 of Inver Grove Heights, MN

Passed away on June 22, 2022. Joyce was born in Rock Elm Township WI on March 23, 1939.  She was one of four children and the only daughter born to Donald and Vesta Kendall. Joyce is survived by her children, Ken (Sue) Wolske (St Paul, MN), Lorene (Wil) Damsits (Savage, MN), Phil (Rhonda) Wolske (Goldsboro, NC), and Lois Wolske (Inver Grove Heights, MN); 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joyce Kendall; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar LaVere Wolske; her parents; brothers, Jerry Kendall, James Kendall and Richard L. Kendall; sisters-in-law, Leona (Ambrose) Gamroth, Mabel Wolski, and Dorla (Clarence) Holm; in-laws, Oscar (Esther) Wolske; brothers-in-law, Lyman (Margaret) Wolske & Donald Anderson.  Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, July 10th at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights, MN.  Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Lunch to follow service.  Private interment at a later date.  Please consider memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Age 84 of Inver Grove Heights

Passed away on June 22, 2022.  Preceded in death by parents Elmer & Lydia; brothers, Harvey & Duane; sister, Elaine.

Survived by daughters, Carol Jean White, Jacqueline Knight; grandchildren, Jim & Eugene Knight; sisters, Janice (Denny), Judy, Darlene & Gloria, brother, Elmer; wives, Mary Karnowski, Barbara Bitterman and many nieces & nephews.

Eugene worked for NSP (now Xcel Energy) for 33 years, and in his retirement as a Lieutenant in the IGH police reserve and later working for the city street maintenance team.  He was also a member of the MN National Guard, IBEW #23 and Moose Lodge #1088.

He enjoyed thousands of games of cribbage, darts, volleyball, bowling, softball, playing pool and of course golf.

Chapel Service 12 Noon Saturday, July 9th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave, Inver Grove Heights.  Visitation 11 AM-12 Noon prior to the service. Interment St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, IGH.

Celebration of Life will be held at Drkula’s, IGH following services.

Age 70 of South St. Paul

Passed away on June 20, 2022. Preceded in death by husband, Miles; father, James. Survived by mother, Arlene Moehrle; sons, Charles (Tiffany) & Daniel (Heather); grandchildren, Alexander & Audrey; brother, William (Cheryl) Moehrle; nephews, Steven (Brooke) & Matthew (Laura) Moehrle; beloved dog, Bogey; also other nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins & friends. Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren, the pups, family and close friends at The Lake. Age 72 of Inver Grove Heights.

Passed away on June 10, 2022 surrounded by her sisters and family. She took great comfort in knowing she would be seeing her beloved mother, Ardelle Helminiak again. Carol is survived by her sisters, Linda Knorr (Dennis), Bonnie Birnstengel (Dean); nieces and nephews, Angela Gerber (Jerome), Amy Johnston (Matt), Lance Birnstengel, Corey Birnstengel (Karina); great-nephew and great nieces, Alex, Maddie, Hailey, Calleigh and Raena. Carol was very proud of being retired from CHS after 50 years of service. She will be deeply missed by her family, many friends and relatives.  Memorial service 11 AM Friday, June 17th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Age 74 of Inver Grove Heights.

Passed away peacefully in the arms of family, on June 9, 2022, after a 12-year battle with breast cancer. Carol and her husband raised three children. Their love and dedication to each other and to family was truly a life lesson. Carol is survived by Larry, her loving husband of 54 years; daughters, Colleen (Pete) Sichko and Christine (Daniel) Joa; son, Jason; grandchildren, Mykala Joa (Josh) Anderson and Alexander Sichko; great-grandson, Brooks Anderson; sisters, Marge Halasz and Joan McLemore; brother, Gordon Schwarz; loving and devoted niece, Maria Buhl; many extended family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Schwarz. Family will greet friends and family on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 1 to 4 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 3 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Private inurnment at St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery.

Age 63 of Cottage Grove, MN

Passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2022. Preceded in death by parents, Roy & Carole Gonsowski; grandson, Tristan Michael. Survived by wife, Jill Finley; daughter, Jessica (Randall) Thornton; sons, Nicholas (Kara) Gonsowski & Andrew (Samantha) Gonsowski; 9 grandchildren, Ariel, Tre, Brayden, Haden, Jorah, Brooklyn, Madison, Jackson, & Jaelynn; siblings, Gerald (Ann) Gonsowski, Cindy (Darryl) Marsh, Joel (Kelly) Gonsowski & Roy Gonsowski; also many other family and friends.

Michael was born and raised in Cottage Grove.  After graduating from Park Senior High School in 1978 he joined the US Navy and retired with 20 years of service.   He loved music, cooking, playing board games and entertaining on his boat.

Born on Aug 8, 1932 to Edward & Gladys (Pitts) Goebel in Sandstone, MN and left this earth on June 1, 2022 at the Moose Lake HCC (special thanks to their caring staff). Preceded in death by beloved wife, Jacqueln (Kumlin) Goebel. Survived by grandson, Bruce Gentry and many other family & friends, too many to mention. Interment will be at 11:00 am Saturday June 11^th, at the Spring Park Cemetery, 1225 Old Military Rd S, Sandstone, MN 55072, followed by a luncheon at Grace Lutheran Church basement 339 Division St, Sandstone, MN 55072.

Age 73

Passed away May 18th, 2022, at the Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale MN, after a short battle with Lung Cancer. Liane grew up in West St. Paul where she graduated from Henry Sibley High school.  She worked at Stroh’s brewery while raising her 5 kids in Inver Grove Heights. After her kids had all finished high school she moved to Ely, MN and worked at Wintergreen Northern Wear until her retirement. She later moved back to Inver Grove Heights to be near family.
She loved sewing, bowling with her league friends, and was always working on a puzzle. Over the years she had made a lot of wonderful friends and created many cherished memories. She made everyone who knew her laugh at all the stories she loved to share. Our family is grateful to know that Mom is finally at peace. Liane is survived by her children, Kelly (Chris) Weldon, Kim Anderson, Karen Jeske, Kevin (Doreen) Jeske, Karie Jeske; grandchildren, Josh (Grace) Anderson, Mathew (Katie) Anderson, Erik Anderson, Mason Anderson, Jaden Anderson, John Weldon, Allison Weldon, Jacob Weldon, Maddisyn Ayres, Nyckolas Ayres, Maggie Jeske; great-grandchildren, Carter Anderson, Jackson Anderson, Aleah Anderson, Everett Anderson. A Celebration of her Life will be held from 2-4 PM Sunday, June 12th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights.

Passed away on May 24, 2022.  Preceded by father, George Daak.  Survived by husband, Andrew; son, Joshua; mother, Eileen Daak; half brother, Lyndel; mother & father-in-law, Mary & Donald Olson; sister-in-law, Terri (Mark) Schoenfelder, brother-in-law, Eric (Molly) Olson; nieces, nephews & friends.

Funeral Service at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 1^st, 2022 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 6544 16^th Ave. S, Richfield, MN.  Visitation 1-2 pm, prior to the service.  Interment 10 am on Thursday, June 2^nd at Dawn Valley Memorial Park.
