Pladson, Sue Ellen (Grover)

Passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Marcella & Gerald Grover; grandson, Matthew Pladson. She brought joy to everyone’s lives. Always thought of others before herself. So many fun childhood memories camping and summer vacations at cabins up north. She fought a hard battle with cancer 8 years ago and beat it. Since then we have many cherished memories of family Christmas’ spent together baking cookies, making crafts, playing board games, and cooking up a big Christmas dinner. We also continued the tradition with renting a cabin up north for summer family vacations! While she lived in her apartment at Walker Methodist these last few years, she was very active in helping others when they needed it, being the Welcome Wagon to new residents, and participating in every activity they had. She was always running out the door to go to exercise class, call bingo, or play mini golf/bean-bag-toss/scrabble/or cards. She had such a busy social calendar! I know she will be missed by everyone there! And a special thanks to Auntie Sheryl for being there every week to take her to lunch, get groceries, doctor appointments, haircuts, pedicures, etc. We couldn’t have done it without you!
