Arlene peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Ruth Nelson; brothers, Ronald and Gary. Survived by loving husband of 61 years, Peter; children, Gregg (Stacy), Steve, Mark, Bruce (Christine); grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Lauren, Michael, Tony, Kayla, Frank, Samantha, Roxanne, Emily, Hannah, Ellie & Jake; great grandchildren, Grayson, Harrison and Audrey; also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was always kind and gentle. She loved to read, engage in many crafts, attend countless athletic events of her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on Leech Lake. Arlene was a devout Christian and showed her love for Jesus through her compassion for others. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12 Noon, Monday, July 22, 2019 with visitation 10 AM-12 Noon prior at First Presbyterian Church, 535 20th Ave. N., South St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Shriners Hospital for Children or the South Saint Paul Open Foundation.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the laughter and love of many family and friends on July 11, 2019. Preceded in death by father, Robert; sisters, Becky & Kim. Survived by daughters, Katy & Leah and their father, Don; mother, Carolyn Petersen; brother, Todd; sister, Karla (David) Sobaski; nieces & nephews, Carrie, Shawn, Curtis, Jessica, Nicki & Tommy; also great-nieces & nephews, other relatives & her Deep Purple family. Brenda was a 1983 graduate of Simley High School. She began her working career as a manager at McDonalds, pursued her degree in marketing and communications and went to work for Guidant Financial and St. Jude Medical. Pearson, Anne Marie (Nee Fischbach)
Age 69 of Inver Grove Heights
Anne passed away peacefully on July 2, 2019, and is now with her mother, father, and countless other loved ones. She was married to the love of her life, Greg, for nearly 49 years. Together they adopted two children, Heather and Nathan, to complete their family. Anne chose nursing as her vocation and specialized in surgical nursing. She loved shopping, talking on the phone, observing birds in the feeder, planning family holidays, and watching Hallmark movies, figure skating and the Food Network. Most of all she loved cheering for her beloved Minnesota Twins. Anne made a lasting impression on those she met – she was never afraid to share an opinion or let you know how she felt. Her big personality will be missed by those who love her, even as they feel comforted that her suffering is over. Anne is survived by her husband, Greg; daughter, Heather (Kurt Larson); son, Nathan (Erica Wright) and numerous siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at Roberts Funeral and Cremation Chapel, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights on Saturday, July 13 at 11am, with a visitation starting at 10am. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you consider a donation to the American Lung Association in Minnesota.

Tom was born August 19, 1937 to Albert and Edith Classen in Glencoe, MN. Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria; daughter, Becky (Kip) Reinarz; grandchildren, Heather Classen (Adam Schaab), Courtney (Drew) Morris, and Kyle Fink; sister, Sue (Dan) Stavrum; great grandchildren, Paisley and Sawyer Morris. Tom’s in-laws are Ordean (Ella) Swain & Pat (Harlan) Redfield. Tom’s nieces and nephews are Carrie Tummel, Cathy Stavrum, Cindy (Adam) Smith, Erik Swain, Eronn Swain, Brad (Julie) Redfield & Sherry (Rich) Jacobson. Tom’s step grandchildren are, Garrett (Megan) Reinarz and their children, Wyatt and Kenna and Jordan Rist. Tom taught chemistry at Simley High School for 25 years. He was a Boy Scout leader, loved to do woodworking and gardening. He could design and build anything out of wood. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held 7 PM Monday, July 8th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 6-7 PM prior to the service. Survived by brother-in-law, Charlie Darrow; children, Michael, Dennis (Debra), Anne (Troy) Otto, & Brian (Marie); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Albina Thomas. Dean served in the US Army and retired from Unisys where he worked as a maintenance supervisor. Dean was an avid fisherman, loved to ride his Goldwing Motorcycle and enjoyed trap shooting. He will be sadly missed by his friends in MN and FL. A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be held 4 PM Sunday, June 23rd, at the River Heights Vineyard Church, 6070 Cahill Ave., Inver Grove Heights.
