Ketchmark, Theodore (Ted)

Age 84

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 4 2019. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Janet (Schaefer); Children, Tom (Karen), Steve, Terrie Loosen (Eddie), Tami Fenton (Mike), Lisa Dockter (Jay); grandchildren, Shari, Adam, Zak, Korey, Madison, Joshua, Tanner, Ryan, Hannah; great-grandchildren, George and Giuliana.; also survived by his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a Korean War Vet, Pipefitter, devoted family man, avid hunter, fisher and golfer. Ted embraced life and fought to be with his family until the end. Join us as we celebrate Ted’s life Wednesday, April 10, 4-7 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Christian Memorial Service at 6 pm. Private interment at Ft Snelling National Cemetery. Light meal during visitation.

Passed away peacefully on April 2, 2019. Called to heaven to join parents Richard & Patricia, sister Pamela, grandson C.J. Survived by devoted husband of 54 years, Bob, Sr. Loving mother to Bob, Jr., Bill (Jeanne), and Kristine (Jason) Clum. Adored grandmother to Corey, Cody, Jordyn, Tyler, Rick, Cassidy, Hannah, Robby and Jake. Older sister to Brad (Julie), Ken (Jean), Dave (Lynette), DeeDee, and John (Audrey). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and beloved friends Larry and Patsy. Celebration of Life at The Croation Hall, 445 2nd Ave. So., SSP on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 2-6 PM. Marxer, Mary “Joyce”

(nee Menden), age 71, of Inver Grove Heights.

Joyce was a loving, caring, and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, teacher and more. Survived by her husband, Joe; children, Jeff (Stacy) and Jill (Peter); grandchildren, Abby, Natalie, Gavin, Noah, Toren, and Baylor; siblings, Bill (Jean) Menden, Connie (Mike) Cooper, Tony (Jean) Menden, Dan (Mary Jo) Menden, Larry (Dorene) Menden, Sue (Bill) Weckman, Rich Menden, and Deb (Miles) Lunak and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Betty Menden. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday, April 5th  at The Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St., IGH. Visitation 4 to 7 PM Thursday, April 4th  at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., IGH. Interment Saint Patrick’s Church Cemetery. Patrick, Richard Allen “Dick” or “Dickie”

Died Thurs., March 28, 2019, at age 70

While in hospice care in Inver Grove Heights, Minn. He was born May 19, 1948, in Alexandria, Minn., the first of eight children for Richard J. and Delette (Affeldt) Patrick. He attended grade school and junior high at St. Matthew’s Catholic and high school at Humboldt, both on St. Paul’s West Side, graduating from the latter in 1966. Dick entered active U.S. Army duty in March 1968 and was part of Company C, 6th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, an airborne unit, during the Vietnam War. The unit was assigned to a brigade at Fort Wainwright near Fairbanks, Alaska, after its service in Vietnam.  He received an honorable discharge in 1970, having earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Parachute Badge. Dick worked many years at National Steel Fabricators in St. Paul.  A progressive illness affecting his balance and speech eventually left him unable to work. He enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, deer hunting, and watching baseball and football. Survivors include brothers, Dale, Dean, Dan, Mark (Kathy) and Doug Patrick; half-brother, Steve Patrick; step-brothers, Mike and Dave (Leslie) Brue; and numerous other cousins, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Patricia; brother Michael; sister Marla; half-brother Scott; sister-in-law Merna and step-sister-in-law Carol Brue and many uncles and aunts. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2019 from 9-10:30 AM with Interment immediately to follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery (Assembly #5).

Keller, Carole Ann

Age 76

Passed away on March 25th,  2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and servant of God. Her compassionate spirit, positive outlook, and infectious love of life was and is an inspiration to us all. She is survived by her husband Bill, sister Rita (Denny), children Bill (Kelly), Beth (Ty), grandchildren; Danielle, Zack, Abby, Brenden, Dawson, as well as an extensive extended family. A special thank you to her care team at Woodwinds, friends and family for all their love and support. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 2nd at Roberts Funeral Home 8108 Barbara Ave, Inver Grove Heights, MN. Age 88 of South St. Paul passed away peacefully on March 25, 2019. Preceded in death by husband Cletus. Survived by children, Bernard, Janet (Mark Robertson), Barb, Sandra (Dave Stevenson); grandchildren Angie (Gerard), Lucas (Laura), Samantha (Greg), Daniel, Frances; six great grandchildren; sister, Mary; nieces, Heidi and Katie. Age 52 of Hastings

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 23, 2019, after a brave fight with cancer. Preceded in death by father, Frank Landeen; nana, Carmella Landeen. Survived by loving husband, Marvin; children, Tiffanie (Josh), Bradley (Casey), Jessica & Stefany (Brent); grandchildren, Sophia, Riley & Rickie Tod; mother, Charlene Crane; sisters, Elizabeth, Angela (Sean),Carmella (Ronnie) and Wendy; also many other family & friends. Gina loved taking adventures with Marv on the motorcycle and summer days filled with gardening. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Larkin Hoffman Law Office. Among the many people and things, she cherished; her job of being a legal assistant was close to the top. Gina was beautiful, strong, courageous, inspirational, dedicated, and a fighter. She will be greatly missed. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday, March 28th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Age 88 of Eagan, born in Colfax, Wisconsin.
Passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on March 22, 2019.
Preceded in death by mother Nora Gunderson (Stockness), father Conrad and brother Leland. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Lois, sons Jeff (Jan) and Jack, daughter Lori (Dan) and niece Nancee Gunderson (Bonnie), grandchildren Michael, Eric and Dan, great grandchildren Mason, James and Anders. Memorial service 10:30 am Thursday, March 28, at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1400 Robert Street, West St Paul. Visitation 9:30am prior to service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Brand, Marijo Julia

(Nee Grabowski)

Passed away peacefully on Friday March 1, 2019.

Preceded in death by mother, AnnaMarie Grabowski (nee Haag).  Survived by father, Bob Grabowski; husband, Bud; children, Christie (Matthew) Frid, Josh (Nicole) & Chad; grandchildren, Henry, Owen & Libby Frid, Lorelei Brand; siblings, Mark, Marcia (Roger) Melde, Mike (Joyce) & Mickey (Gwen); also, many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Gastric cancer may have ended Marijo’s life, but it in no way defined it. Marijo had a nurturing spirit and if she was in the sand or sun she had a contented soul. She loved to travel- by air, ship, or car-all adventures were great. She enjoyed being outdoors playing bocce on land or snorkeling in the seas. She was a voracious reader and always had a book in hand. She appreciated fine dining and a glass of red wine. More than anything Marijo enjoyed the company of family and friends.  She left her mark in our hearts and created a life she loved. A Celebration of Marijo’s Life will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 in recognition of what was to be her 64th birthday. This Celebration of Life will be held at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights with visitation from 4-5:30pm and remembrance from 5:30-6:00pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Red Cross (Marijo donated blood products for over 30 years), The American Cancer Society or your local library.
