Holcomb, Jeffrey Alan
Passed away January 17, 2019
Preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Holcomb. Survived by wife, Mary Stoner; sons, Patrick and William Holcomb; father, Phillip Holcomb (Donna Spicuzza); sister, Kathryn (Ken) VanKeuren (Rebecca, Chad, Amanda); brother, Bradley (Mary), (Jacob, Taryn). Jeff was truly loved by all and loved everyone. He was sincerely caring about all of his friends and coworkers. So caring that it hurt him deeply when someone was troubled. Most of all he deeply loved his family. He loved dad Phil, sister Kathy and brother Brad. He always wanted to be there for them. He dedicated his life to his wife Mary and children Patrick and William. All he did was for them. He loved so hard and had such a big heart. He never truly understood that we loved him as much as he loved us. He loved his high school friends from Rockford, MI. Met annually with his fraternity brothers at Alma College in Alma, Mi. Graduated with MS in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from St Thomas University. Funeral Service 7 PM Thursday, January 24th, at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 4-7 PM prior to the service. In lieu of gifts or flowers please make a donation to the Rosemount High School athletic department. They have been just wonderful and supportive of Jeff and Patrick.
Warner, Myrlin J. (Yahnke)
Age 91, of Apple Valley, formerly of Richfield.
Survived by sons, Alan, Dean, and Brian; daughter, Julie (Marc) Murawski; grandchildren, Kelly Hanson, Katelyn and Tyler Warner; identical twin, Myrtice Senske; brother, Marvil (Bud) Yahnke; sister, Ileen Kocks; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Orrin (Bud) Warner; infant daughter, Lynn Marie; sisters, Iola Westphal and Marcella Arnoldi. Myrlin had many varied careers in her life, including working at Twins and Vikings games at Met Stadium, but primarily she was a wife and mother. She also took great pride in being an identical twin, and she and Myrtice often dressed the same, even in their later years. Myrlin was always excited to tell new acquaintances that she and her twin had a double wedding ceremony. Service Wednesday, Jan. 23, 11 AM, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7600 Cahill Avenue East, Inver Grove Heights. Visitation prior to service starting at 9:30 AM. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane North, Golden Valley.

Preceded in death by beloved wife of 62 years, Donna; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Chiara. Survived by sons, Kevin (Marleen) and Dave (Martha); daughters, Becky (Tom), Ann, Pauline (Stan) and Jennifer (Dan); brother, Jim (Mary); brother-in-law, Darrel; sister-in-law, Barb; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Bill had a dry wit and great sense of humor. He loved woodworking, camping in the desert, hiking the Rocky Mountains, reading, sharpshooting and his Colorado friends. Our amazing father and friend will be sorely missed. Hike on Dad! Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Saturday, January 26th, at the Church of St. John Vianney, 840 19th Ave. No., South St. Paul. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on 1/12/19. Survived by wife of 62 years, Carol; sons, Steve (Brenda) & Jon (Michele); daughter, Terri (Mark); 5 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughters. Don served in the US Army Air Corps, was a member of the IGH Lions for over 5 decades and retired from Northwest Airlines after 38 years. Thank you to Timber Hills & Allina Hospice for their care. June retired after working for the State of Minnesota. She loved her church and traveling. Blazek, Nicholas Louis “Nick”
Died peacefully on January 5, 2019 in Inver Grove Heights, MN at the age of 89.
Nick is survived by his wife, Germaine (Wilking); sons, Michael (Leslie Bujold), Troy (Alla) & Trent (Liubov); daughter, Tania (Jason Harris); daughter-in-law, Michelle (Larson); grandchildren, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Rachel, and Alexander. He is preceded in death by his son, Scott of Woodbury, MN. Nick was born on November 8, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI to William and Katherine (Neubauer). Nick enlisted in the US Army in 1945. He was a decorated soldier including being a recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross, and was honorably discharged as a Command Sergeant Major in 1967. He married Germaine, on August 8, 1958, celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in 2018. The family extends a special thank you to Nick’s home hospice care team Jill, Melanie, Karen, Rosie, and Chaplain Norm. Visitation 5 -8 PM Thursday, January 10 at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. Inver Grove Heights. Funeral Service 8:45 AM Friday, January 11th, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 7070 Bovey Ave., IGH. Interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery with a lunch to follow back at the church. Lechner, Mary Joan
Age 80 of Inver Grove Heights
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on December 30th. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Evelyn Griffin; siblings, Dorothy, William and Colette. Mary was raised in Sheildsville, MN and was a long term resident of Lake Elmo, MN. She graduated from Bethlehem Academy and began her lifelong career as a nurse in St. Paul. Survived by her children, David (Gretchen), Michael, John (Debbie) Lechner, Joan Marie (Rick) Wormer; brothers, John and Paul Griffin. Mary loved spending time with her 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. The Family wishes to Thank the caring Medical Staff at Regions Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial 12 Noon Saturday, January 5th at St. Patrick’s Church in Inver Grove Heights with visitation 2 hours prior to Mass. Lunch will follow the service.
