Lechner, Mary Joan

Age 80 of Inver Grove Heights

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on December 30th. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Evelyn Griffin; siblings, Dorothy, William and Colette. Mary was raised in Sheildsville, MN and was a long term resident of Lake Elmo, MN. She graduated from Bethlehem Academy and began her lifelong career as a nurse in St. Paul. Survived by her children, David (Gretchen), Michael, John (Debbie) Lechner, Joan Marie (Rick) Wormer; brothers, John and Paul Griffin. Mary loved spending time with her 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. The Family wishes to Thank the caring Medical Staff at Regions Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial 12 Noon Saturday, January 5th at St. Patrick’s Church in Inver Grove Heights with visitation 2 hours prior to Mass. Lunch will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bethlehem Academy.

Fahey, Thomas Henry, Jr.

Died on December 26, 2018 at the age of 89. Preceded in death by loving wife of 65 years, Margaret (Lantry); parents, Thomas and Julia (Gallagher); siblings, Gerald (Helen), John (Marion), Frank (Georgia), Bob (Marge), Catherine (Harold Cragg), Mary Eileen; infant granddaughter, Shawn Marie; brother-in-law, Jerome (Marilyn) Lantry; son-in-law, Gordon V. Donnelly.  Devoted father of Tom H. Fahey, III (Anne Boisclair-Fahey), Ellen, Joseph (Mary Irene), Paul (Mary Jo), Dennis (Diana), Mary, Philip (Amanda), Katie Steele, Daniel (Mary Elizabeth), Betsy (Steven) Kloiber and Therese; 25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Marge Fahey and Marilyn Lantry.  There will be one less member of the 1947 Cretin High School graduates at the Monday morning coffee group. The family would like to thank The Pillars Hospice for their care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St John Vianney Church, South St. Paul, 10:30 AM on Monday, January 7 with visitation at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Burnsville. Memorials to Peace House Community, 1816 Portland Ave., Minneapolis or your favorite charity.

Burger, Anthony M. “Tony”

Passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 25, 2018, age 31.

Anthony proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He was a fun, outgoing, and caring young man who lived life to the fullest. He is preceded in death by grandfather, Thomas Burger. Survived by mother, Kathryn Winter; father, Michael Burger; brother, Jacob; sister, Nicole; grandparents, Joe and Mary Winter and Mary Lou Burger; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4030 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan. Visitation prior to Mass from 9-11 am. Memorials preferred to Eagan Rotary Foundation for use in the “Sherri’s Books” program that annually provides every Eagan 1st grader with a book.

Passed away peacefully on December 15th, at the age of 88. Preceded in death by husband, William Sr.; daughters, Linda Grossman (Jim), Kelly Anderson (Don),  Jeanne Hulscher (Steve); son, Steve (Deb). She is survived by children, Julie Billington (Kevin), William Jr. (Elaine), Vicki Stute (Nick); also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rose was a proud employee of the 3M Company where she worked as a manager. Private services were held.

Passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her husband on December 19, 2018. Preceded in death by son, Tyler; father, Gary; Survived by husband, Neil; mother, Pam; sister, Brenda; brother, Darin; also many nieces, nephews & close friends. Michele worked as a dental hygienist for over 20 years at Cahill Dental. Her precious giving heart will be missed by all.
