Age 88, passed away June 24, 2026 at The Pillars Hospice Home, Oakdale, MN.
She was born July 8, 1937 in LaCrosse WI, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Dorothy Ender.
Phyllis worked at West Publishing for over 40 years as a factory worker.
Phyllis loved sports. She was a pitcher for the West Publishing fastpitch softball team known as the “West Girls”. Her team won several championships. Phyllis was also an avid bowler and played on the West Publishing bowling teams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Haynie Urbanek of Coon Valley, WI, her nephew, Ray Haynie (Cathy Sorensen) of Auburn, WA, her niece, Cheryl Reno of Coon Valley, WI and her cousin, Joann Goede of Onalaska, WI.
Phyllis also leaves behind lifelong friends, Jim and Mary Wolf of Bismark, ND and their sons, Christopher Wolf of Wickenburg, AZ and Austin Wolf (Karen) of Bismark, ND.
In addition, she leaves behind special friends, Kathy Wilkinson of Eagan MN, Janet Durand of Eagan MN and Vicky Dotson of Lakeville MN.
At Phyllis’ request, there will be no services. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LaCrosse, WI.
