Survived by husband of 58 years Tom; sons: Paul, John, Jim(Katherine) Pieper; daughters, Julie (Joe) Warner and Sue Kahle; grandchildren, Mara Pieper, Rachel Decker, Sarah (Ben) Snook, Matthew Pieper; Ben and Luke Pieper; Samuel, Hannah, Jonah, and Rachel Warner; Allison and Thomas Kahle; sisters, Donna, Debbie DaBruzzi (Yakima, WA), Kathy (Ron) Hartley (Oregon City, OR); brother, Ron (Judy) DaBruzzi; sister-in-law, Kathy Pieper. Preceded in death by son, Bob; sister, Patrica Kremer; parents, Julia and Charles; stepmother, Josephine DaBruzzi; in-laws, Gertrude and Harold Pieper, Dorothy and Donald Grittner and Larry Pieper. Joan spent her time caring for her family, volunteering and working for Divine Redeemer and HealthEast for over 20 years. She loved to travel, sew, knit, and play computer games. Many thanks to the loving staff at Timberhills. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Friday, July 29th at the Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St. Inver Grove Heights. Visitation 8:30-10 AM prior to Mass.
