Michael Scott was born in Plainfield, NJ on June 13, 1953 to Evelyn (Redd) Scott and Menzy Daniel Scott and departed this life suddenly January 12, 2016 at home. Michael was raised in Westield, NJ where he attended McKinley School, Edison Jr High School and graduated Westfield High School. Michael moved to Minnesota where he raised his family. He worked and retired from Ford Motor Company several years ago. Michael is predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Scott and father, Menzy Scott. Michael is survived by his longtime, dedicated and loving companion, Kathy Kubes; sons, Rayjon (Liza Rakoczy) and Mikie at home. He also leaves a brother, David Scott (Diane) of Long Pond, PA; niece, Tova Scott and Nephew, Andre’ Scott of Long Pond, Pa. and many more family and friends. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5-7 PM Sunday, January 17th at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. Inver Grove Heights.
