Sharon grew up in Cut Bank, Montana and always had a love for the mountains and beautiful country. She also had a love for playing the piano and listening to guitar music. She went to college in Havre, where she became an Elementary school teacher. She met Edward, they married in Montana and moved to Minnesota. She studied Nursing and became an RN at St. Paul Children’s Hospital, where she worked for over 30 years, mainly in the neonatal unit.
She enjoyed visiting family in Montana, camping and working on her sewing projects and quilts. She had compassion for life and helping others in any way she could. She was especially proud of her grandchildren; she loved looking at their photos, hearing about their accomplishments and making personalized quilted items.
Special Thanks to the Staff at the Wellstead of Rogers, who loved and cared for her during her long stay. Norma- you were a gem. And to St. Croix Hospice- it was a true blessing for her to have the exceptional care and the time and experiences with you all. Mary Ellen- your time spent with her on the piano was amazing and will not be forgotten.
