“Yoda” Went to see our dad on May 22, 2013. at the age of 52. Preceded in death by dad & grandparents. Survived by mother, Margaret; sisters, Julie York & Jodie (Thomas) Thoemke; adult children, Ashley (Cody) & Trevor York; grandson, Tristin and granddaughter due in August; nephews, Nicholas (Jill) & Jason Rothenberger; nieces, Christine & Sarah Thoemke; great-nephews& nieces, Gavin Rothenberger, Dylan Huan, Mariah, Ava Thoemke & AubreyRocha; also his favorite aunt, Evelyn Ehret; many relatives & friends. Jim will be missed by all who knew him with his goofy humor. As Jim would say,“10-4, Roger that!” Memorial Service 7 PM Tuesday, May 28 with visitation 4-7 PM prior to the service at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. IGH. Interment 10 AM Wednesday May 29, at Oak Hill Cemetery with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
