Age 92, of South St Paul.
Passed away on January 4, 2026.
Preceded in death by beloved husband, Nicholas “Bob” Schiller.
Tallie was good-natured with a warm heart, generous spirit and a huge smile.
A lifelong resident of South St Paul, Tallie graduated in 1953.
She was deeply proud of her Serbian roots. She adored her husband, Bob, whose dying words to her were, “us crazy kids we had a good life” and indeed they did.
Tallie really treasured their moments together; fishing, visiting casinos, and relaxing in the home they built and lived together for nearly their whole lives.
Fiercely independent and sharp as a tack, Tallie enjoyed putting together complicated puzzles, shopping and being in charge of her own home right to the end.
In later years, Tallie was also known as the candy lady because she loved handing out candy to everyone she met.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10th at Grace Lutheran Church, 155 8th Ave. S., South St. Paul, MN. Private Interment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
