Age 59, of Inver Grove Heights

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jeff Luedke on December 10, 2020. He fought pancreatic cancer with dignity and courage, but lost his battle one day after his 59thbirthday at home surrounded by his wife and children.

Jeff married his loving wife, Amy, in 2002 and together raised sons, Jayar (16), Travis (14) and Alexander Trembley (Lauren). Jeff graduated from Bloomington Lincoln High School in 1980, then served in the United States Marine Corp from 1980-1984. Since 2005, Jeff had worked at the Public Works Department, City of Newport. Jeff was a kind, stoic, and deliberate man who took his time to get things right the FIRST time. He was loved by many. The family would like to thank the Public Works Department, City of Newport, for orchestrating a drive-by parade for his birthday; Ron Patterson, who helped Jeff daily with various projects; the IGH hockey family; and Jerry Grob and Mike Anderson who called him almost every day to lift his spirits.

Jeff is also survived by his mother, Claudia Ferrer; stepfather, George Hernandez; brothers, Roger (Marina), Craig (Joan); sister, Elise (John) McGuire; nieces, Brooke, Blair, Addison, and Grace; nephews, Michael and Shane. Additionally, Jeff had a large nuclear family, many friends and was cherished by all for his kind, generous and loving nature.
